ACE Core Math
Course Information
Course Description The Core Mathematics course is designed to give students a grounding in varied aspects of mathematics, including numeric and algebraic operations; measurement and geometry; collecting, displaying and analyzing data; mathematical relationships; statistics and probability; and simple and compound interest. Core Mathematics provides students with the mathematical foundation they need to move on to other ACE math courses: Apprenticeship, Technical or Business Mathematics. This course meets the math requirement for a very limited number of Ontario college certificate and diploma programs. Many programs also require completion of either ACE Apprenticeship, Technical, or Business Math. Note that it is the responsibility of the student to research and verify college program admission requirements.
